AEC/Application Engineering announces another portable chiller that extends an already complete line -- new 20-30 hp PS Series Portable Chillers. Easily and effectively added to your existing floor plan, this new chiller includes tandem hermetic scroll compressors with SmartCoo. technoloyg. This allows for superior reliability and improved energy savings by allowing one compressor to shut off when process water temperature reaches the desired set-point. PS Chillers also feature a stainless steel, copper-brazed plate evaporator, non-ferrous process piping, and an 80-gallon reservoir. Other upgrades include a NEMA 12 style enclosure, branch fusing and through-the-door, non-fused rotary disconnects.
