Antimicrobial brush
August 12, 2003
The Fuller Brush Company added AgION, an additive/antimicrobial compound for brush filament material to its line of custom brushes. This additive uses silver as its active ingredient and helps reduce the likelihood of cross contamination and odors caused by preventing the growth of bacteria on the brush. According to the company, there is no noticeable difference in appearance or consistency between an antimicrobial brush and a regular filament brush. The additive lasts for the life of any brush product.
