The BA-Series filtration system features two elements, a coalescer and an absorber. Compressed air is directed through the coalescer, where 99.97 percent of contaminants are removed, according to Parker Hannifin, the unit's manufacturer. The contaminant-free air is then redirected upwards to the inside of the absorber element where a carbon element collects hydrocarbon vapors.
