Engineered for demanding high-tension spiral applications, Ashworth’s 1 1/2-in. pitch Omni-Pro spiral/turn-curve conveyor belt withstands spiral/turn-curve tensions of 400 lbs. for 100,000 cycles. Its 360° buttonless weld technology utilizes a zero tension design that allows a higher load-bearing capacity; the weld is free from surface imperfections and crevices to eliminate the possibility of bacteria entrapments. The belt has a protrusion leg that prevents the welds from contacting spiral cage bars and permits the belt to run smoother with less system wear. Each link is formed with a coining process to prevent break-in wear, reducing belt elongation and increasing belt life. Turn ratios range from 1.6 to 2.5. Belt widths are available in even widths from 24 to 60 in.
