The Spectronics Spectroline B-260 battery-operated, long-wave UV lamp detects rodent contamination and aflatoxin on grains, feed, seeds and other crops used for human and animal consumption. When the lamp shines on rodent hair and urine, the hair fluoresces blue-white while the urine fluoresces blue-white to yellow-white. The unit is equipped with a 6V rechargeable battery, AC charger and charging cord. Enclosed in a high-impact plastic housing, the lamp features a stainless steel tube guard that protects against accidental breakage.
