Siemens industrial-grade, compact Simatic RF200 RFID readers have a standardized IO-Link interface for integration into sensor-level automation; no RFID-specific programming is required. The readers also integrate into Simatic ET200 distributed control systems using Profinet and Profibus communications networks. The cylindrically shaped RF210R (M18) and RF220R (M30) models are suitable for small assembly lines with restricted mounting conditions. The block-shaped RF220R reader offers a longer sensing range (HF field) to track guided assembly lines and conveyors.
