First it was Campbell, now Del Monte Foods says it will convert to using non-Bisphenol A (BPA) packaging as a direct response and commitment to meeting evolving consumer preferences.
Beginning with the company’s fresh pack production in 2016, all Del Monte fruit and tomato products, as well as nearly 100 percent of vegetable products found under the Del Monte brand will convert to non-BPA linings.
