Designed for high-viscosity, particulate-laden food and beverage products, the Alfa Laval Unique large particulate mixproof valve can be used with viscous sauces, soups with vegetable solids and juices or soft drinks containing pulp. It features 4- or 6-in. valve port sizes and a plug design for unobstructed product flows of food particulates up to 1.75 in. in diameter. The valve only has 3 elastomers in the isolation chamber to minimize risk of product contamination, and a mix of radial and axial seals.
