PepsiCo says it will spend $2.5 billion in China over the next three years and develop products for the Chinese market as it intensifies competition with Coca-Cola in emerging markets. Archie Gwathmey, co-CEO, Bunge Global Agribusiness (BGA) and Bunge Product Lines (BPL), will retire after a 35-year career at the company. Drew Burke, currently co-CEO of BGA and BPL, will assume the newly created role of Bunge Limited global operational excellence officer. Raul Padilla, currently co-CEO of Bunge Argentina, will become CEO of BGA and BPL.
