Kimberly-Clark's FATHOM liquid cartridge media meets requirements of FDA 21CFR for food filtration and is chemically compatible with most applications. Based on the company's patented bicomponent and meltblown technologies, the media is available in polypropylene and polypropylene/polyethylene constructions. The product uses thermal bonding to provide a high surface area for filtration performance while preventing pore deformation. According to Kimberly-Clark, the media's continuous fibers work together with that thermal bonding to prevent fiber shedding.
