Koch Membrane Systems' Winefilter WF-3 Crossflow Microfiltration System for small- to medium-sized wineries is designed to provide a single filtration step from fermentation to bottle. It uses a microporous hollow fiber membrane that does not require periodic backflushing. A nitrogen blowdown feature minimizes wine loss by recovering filtrate at the end of each run. The system includes a feed pump, recirculation pump and integral cleaning tank, all mounted on a mobile, caster-supported, stainless steel frame that will fit through a standard doorway.
