FANUC Robotics' M-420iA robot equipped with the V-500iA/2DV vision sensor uses visual line tracking to palletize and depalletize cased product. Visual line tracking allows the unit to handle multiple products on the same automation line. The machine is a four-axis, modular constructed, electric servo-driven robot with a 40 kg payload and a remote control unit. It is designed for high-speed manufacturing applications, including packaging, palletizing, material handling, machine load/unload and parts transfer.
