Bosch’s Paloma-D2-Delta top-loading robot with Gemini 3.0 software simulates new production processes and products on a virtual machine. Providing a 3-D virtual view enables operators to adjust and optimize pick-and-place patterns and other settings for each product in an intuitive manner. The robot is available with up to 3 arms; with additional corresponding end-effectors, the standard 3-axis arms can be extended to a fourth movement axis for processes where the robot must rotate the product before placing or it needs to place several products into tight trays and packages. Suitable for secondary packaging of fresh, chilled and frozen food, the robot has a stainless steel construction that meets all current hygiene standards and regulations for food processing.
