seepex’s integrated, vector-type, variable-frequency pump drive for its metering and general transfer progressive cavity pumps integrates the pumps with a single reduction gear box and a 4-pole, TEFC, inverter-rated 1/2hp electric induction motor in a NEMA 4 enclosure. No external or special, fabricated control enclosures are required for high-pressure or dry-run protection. The pump and drive combination covers a performance band of 0.08gph to 4.7gpm and pressures to 360psi; the effective speed range is 20 to 600rpm. The unit operates from standard 1 X 120 VAC, 15 amp circuits with a 5 to 15p grounded plug. The drive has an H-O-A switch with a 10-turn potentiometer for manual control and accepts a 4-20 mA process signal through a standard 1/2-in. UNF-connector.
