Rotary magnet
April 10, 2003
Nu-Con Equipment introduced rotary magnets designed to remove ferrous particles from product flows that tend to clog and bridge in stationary magnetic grates. The unit rotates several powerful magnetic tubes while the product passes through.
While the magnetic action holds the unwanted ferrous particles, the rotary action prevents the product from packing the process stream, and helps break apart lumps and cohesive materials. Valves feature tool-free assembly and are available in industrial, food-grade and USDA models.
