Infrared thermometer
Noncontact, infrared thermometer.
The TempTestr IR is a noncontact, infrared thermometer. Users merely point at a surface and push a single button, and the thermometer returns the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or centrigrade on an easy-to-read LCD screen. It has a temperature range of 0 to 500 degrees F (-18 to 260 degrees C) and an accuracy of ±2 percent. The temperature remains on the screen for 7 seconds to allow time for logging. A laser-sighting model emits a red laser spot for verification of the measurement location.
