Packaging Technology and Inspection introduced the Pti-525 ABUS (Airborne Ultra Sound) seal inspection system which utilizes ABUS technology to inspect heat-sealed retort pouches without sample preparation.

Unlike conventional seal inspection systems, the Pti-525 ABUS produces a quantitative evaluation of the quality of the seal, quickly identifying defects as well as problems with seal integrity that may not result in leaks immediately.
