Krones' Checkmat DART (Distributed Architecture for RealTime) label inspection unit is a multifunction inspection system with a centralized control processing unit that manages a distributed network of inspection processes such as cameras or sensors. The DART K731 label inspection unit uses smart cameras or sensors to verify the labels on containers. Labels are identified through comprehensive comparison with a sample, and checked for position, alignment and quality. The image analysis capabilities include correct label position (horizontal, vertical or slanted), date code (presence and correctness) and codes (bar and 2-D).
