Working in combination with traditional row-forming technology, these robotic palletizers can stack cases at rates exceeding 60 cases per minute, says Columbia/Okura, the manufacturer. The row-forming infeed conveyor pre-groups the cases into complete rows. The palletizer's end effector picks up the row of cases and places them on the pallet in one motion rather than picking and placing individual cases.
