High shear batch mixers
April 9, 2003
Silverson Machines’ High Shear Batch Mixers offer flexible tank-top mounting and a capacity range of 1 to 8,000 gallons. Interchangeable rotor/stator workheads allow each machine to mix, homogenize, dissolve, disperse, disintegrate or emulsify in a wide range of products.
Mixers that are 25 hp and under, Silverson says, can be used with a mobile hydraulic floor stand which increases the flexibility of the mixer to be moved around and installed at various heights to get the best mixing position at different process stages.

ON DEMAND: Getting a consistent and seamless flow of powder ingredients from your powder handling equipment to your mixing equipment can be a challenge. Product quality, capacity and energy use all suffer as a result of inconsistencies in powder flow. Inconsistencies can affect future steps in the production process and lead to unnecessary down time.
