High-shear mixers

Built for general purpose mixing, powder wet-out, deagglomeration, dispersion, emulsification and homogenization, Ross batch high-shear mixers feature a 4-blade rotor running within a close-tolerance stator at tip speeds up to 3,000 to 4,000 ft./min. As the rotor continuously draws in product components and expels them through the stator openings, the batch is subjected to high levels of mechanical and hydraulic shear. Interchangeable stators with different size openings are available for a variety of applications and shear requirements. Standard and sanitary models in atmospheric and vacuum/pressure designs range from 3/4 to 100 hp.
