Matthews International Corporation introduced the R4 Control Unit configurable rack system inkjet printing system.

Each R4 controls up to 16 Drop-on-Demand inkjet print heads for printing text, graphics and bar codes.

Equipped with up to 4 CPU boards, the print heads can be mixed to combine large and small character marking from the single R4 control unit.
