Portec Flowmaster’s PFD is a power face diverter that diverts product without the use of belts. Instead, it uses a patented double-chain technology to increase the speed and reliability of the PFD while decreasing maintenance. It is suitable for use where precise control of a power face diverter arm is desired. The shape and mounting footprint allow it to be installed in existing conveyor applications without extensive modifications. It does not need to be attached to the conveyor system and can be cantilevered up to 10 ft. without overhead supports.  The actuator and power face are independently controlled.
