Food plant maintenance

ITW Devcon says its Permatex and Devcon products are safe for use in food processing plants. The lines include thread lockers, thread sealants, gasketing compounds, RTV sealants and epoxy compounds for repairing metal equipment and forming a protective barrier against abrasion and corrosion. Several Permatex-brand products are NSF registered for use in food processing facilities. These products cover the basic maintenance requirements to keep food processing equipment running smoothly while preventing downtime. Two Devcon epoxy compounds are certified with NSF/ANSI-61 approvals for repairing, rebuilding and coating metal components that come into contact with drinking water.
