KHS’s Innopack CMP pouch packing systems process at outputs from 60 to 250 pouches/min. with pouch sizes from 90mm wide and 100mm high to 200mm wide and 250mm high. Processing of other packaging sizes is possible. If pouches enter the machine horizontally with the wide side or narrow side first or upright, the system responds accordingly. Pouch packs filled with powdery or chunky products are gently equalized before being pushed into the transport cartridges; equalizing for less sensitive products is handled in the infeed area. Pouches remain equalized while conveying cartridges move them suspended in compartments. The pouches slide into cartons in an upright position. Spindles adjust the cartridge plates to adapt to taller, wider, heavier or lighter packages.
