Picking robot
Capable of operating 24/7 with a mean time between failures of 250,000 hours, ABB’s FlexPicker IRB 360 Delta robot has four axes of motion and operates at up to 180 cycles/min. The robot comes with most of the programming already complete; only load point positions must be defined. It runs within an MS Windows environment and uses similar file structures; drop down menus and drag and drop features allow set-ups to be developed quickly. Where multiple robots work in coordinated cells, the software treats the project as a single project for multiple robots or as discrete projects per robot. A built-in vision recorder enables reviewing what the camera captures. The controller can communicate with a variety of peripheral or associated controls or feedback devices.
