Weigh belt feeder
Thayer Scale’s Model MWF-SGSP-OS ultra-sanitary, open-construction weigh belt feeder works in snack food, cereal, pasta, pet food and other applications where cleanability, reliability and weighing performance are important. The unit can provide either closed-loop, gravimetric control of material feed rate or open-loop control for precise convey rate output and totalization of an uncontrolled or intermittent material supply. The weigh belt feeder provides sanitary processing due to its all-SS construction and has positive belt tracking without the use of mechanical devices. The unit provides easy access with a low-maintenance design and no-tools disassembly, is durable and stable under harsh conditions, and promotes fast belt removal due to its cantilevered frame.
