The Ampco ZP1+ sanitary positive displacement pump has O-rings that sit in the front of the body and a sleeve that is a mating part of the rotor. The O-rings can be changed without disconnecting the pump from the piping system; the secondary sleeve/spring assembly seals the pump if the rotors are removed for CIP processing. Non-galling rotors are standard, while single- or bi-wing rotors are optional. Other options include an ultra-clean 304 stainless steel tubular base assembly, adjustable 3A legs and an OSHA-approved guard. Existing ZP1 pumps and competing models can be converted to a ZP1+ pump during the remanufacturing process.
