Hershey's commitment to diversity

The Hershey Company’s CEO Michele Buck signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace by working collectively across organizations and sectors.

Buck joins more than 150 CEOs who have also pledged to cultivate an environment where people are empowered and encouraged to discuss diversity and inclusion.

“This is consistent with our efforts to foster a diverse, representative workforce at all levels of our company. By bringing together people with diversity of thought, interest, skill and experience, we are enriching our legacy as an organization and helping to cultivate a sustainable business for the future,” says Michele Buck, president and CEO, The Hershey Company.

The pledge builds on Hershey’s progress made toward its goal to be a premier industry leader in diversity and inclusion by 2020, including the Paradigm for Parity pledge, which is a movement of business leaders, board members and academics who are committed to achieving a new norm in corporate America in which women and men have equal power, status and opportunity.
