PLANT OPENINGS & EXPANSIONS





King’s Hawaiian, producer of specialty bakery products, is building a 148,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on 6 acres. This multi-million dollar plant project, located at Harbor Gateway in Los Angeles, will be managed by Fluor.

Flavors of North America is relocating and building a new plant in Geneva, IL. Having outgrown its 35,000-square-foot facility in Carol Stream, the company bought 22 acres in Geneva for its new 80,000-square foot plant.

Nestle USA expects to begin operations at a new $60 million frozen foods plant in Jonesboro, Ark., in Spring 2003.

Interstate Brands Corporation has begun renovations and construction at its new bakery facility in the Rocky Mountain region of the U.S.

Multivac Inc. completed a $4 million expansion at its North American headquarters in Kansas City, MO. The expansion will reduce lead times for parts, accessories and machinery, and increase training and demonstration facilities.

Rohm and Haas Company is building a new pilot coating and laminating facility in Ringwood, IL.
