Easy-open closure

Sonoco Phoenix has new, 401, full panel, easy-open closures (EZO) for processed foods made from double-reduced (DR) steel. The closures are easy to open for consumers because the ends are manufactured from much harder, thinner-gauge steel which reduces the force needed to open the can.

The product is suitable for most processed food products including soups, stews, meats, seafood, vegetables and fruit.
