Alfa Laval says its Contherm Flex, a new flexible retrofit model of the Contherm Scraped-Surface Heat Exchanger, features durable blades that improve product quality, safety and security. A 3-in. tangential head reduces shear and provides lower system pressures. An optional non-porous Alfaloy cylinder coating may extend product life and cut maintenance and operational costs. The Contherm Flex requires 12 to 24 blades, facilitating cleaning of the tangential head.
