ARBO Engineering's plug-and-play style controls for distributed systems of two to 16 gravimetric (loss-in-weight) feeders feature feeder-mounted, small-footprint control modules connected with standard ethernet cables to a supervisory unit. They offer a 15-in., color, touch-screen supervisory unit with graphic representation of hopper level, refill alarms and feed-rate deviation. The control's one-time calibration feature means the feeder control is initialized only once, after which the feeders can be removed and re-installed from a process without further calibration or initialization.
