Tropical Beverage, Inc., and Five Star Beverages plan to build a co-packing facility in Southern California. The joint venture will include five filling lines, with hot fill, carbonated soda, canning and PET lines, as well as an in-house print shop, a bottle blow molder and more than 200,000 sq. ft. of warehousing.

Interstate Warehousing, Inc., expects to complete construction of a new 150,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Franklin, IN, by spring of 2005. Part of the company's network of refrigerated warehouses, the new facility will sit on a 30-acre site that has room for a future 750,000-sq.-ft. expansion.
