Mettler-Toledo's Starweigh checkweigher is a starwheel-based checkweigher designed to maintain high throughput and accuracy while handling a range of container sizes. One unit can be changed over to handle containers from 30 cc to 2,000 cc. It achieves an accuracy of ±15 mg at 3 sigma and line speeds from 20 to 400 cpm, depending on the model. The checkweigher is suitable for round, oval, rectangular and square containers made of plastic, metal and glass from 0.75 to 6.5 in. in diameter.
