P-80 Emulsion IFC and P-80 THIX IFC temporary rubber lubricants from International Products meet FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570, which controls lubricants used in incidental food contact applications. A thin film of P-80 IFC will provide temporary lubrication and reduce the force needed to install a tight-fitting rubber part. Typical applications for the lubricants include assembly operations involving O-rings, grommets, seals, washers, hoses, stoppers, diaphragms and plugs used in food processing equipment. The lubrication is temporary. Once it dries, the normal non-slip condition of the rubber returns.
