A Texas-based supermarket chain has issued a voluntary recall for a select number of one of its ice cream products because the dessert may contain wood slivers.
In a statement, H-E-B said no illnesses associated with the product have been reported and the company is committed to the quality of its products.
The recall applies to lots of Creamy Creations Caramel Pecan Turtle Ice Cream with sell by dates of 20 APR(ABR)16, 10 MAY(MAY)16, 07 JUN(JUN)16 and 18 JUL(JUL)16.
