The Gericke nibbler de-agglomerates blocks of dried fruit used in products such as breakfast cereals and infant food. It includes an all-welded shaft assembly, 240 grit/0.6 RA finish internally and a woven-wire, a 316 stainless steel screen with a 20- to 30-mm opening. Low-speed, high-torque rotation breaks up agglomerates without smashing them.
