The Bosch Packaging Technology Biscuit on Pile packaging system for plain, sweet and savory cookies and crackers has a magazine feeder that enables the selection of the desired stack count via the HMI independently from the number of incoming lanes; it allows stacking 2 to 7 products and grouping 1 to 4 stacks to create multiple package configurations ranging from 1 to 28 cookies per package. The feeder compensates when the product supply from the oven to the packaging system varies, extracting missing cookies from 1 of the other lanes to build a complete stack. The horizontal flow wrapper includes film rollers that are numbered sequentially, a manual hand wheel to rotate the cutting head and a completely tool-less film former.
