The Cryovac Onpack 2100A vertical form-fill-seal system enables food manufacturers to package faster and for less cost in a pouch, says Sealed Air, the manufacturer. The bag-in-box system is suitable for packaging liquid and semi-liquid foods and can package product containing food particulates up to 1.5 in. in diameter. The system automates the filling process, packaging the product in pouches instead of pails and can fill up to 20 pouches in one minute in sizes ranging from 1.5 to 5 gallons.
