Pouch packaging system
March 27, 2003
ECONOCORP and Goodman Packaging introduced Pec-Pak, a new stand-up pouch packaging system that can help ship products without damaging them. It provides product stability and stacking strength on the pallet, the manufacturers say.
The Pec-Pak line consists of an ECONOCORP extended range Econoform tray former that forms the Pec Pak cases from flat blanks. The cases are fed via conveyor to Goodman robotic case packers that load the stand-up pouches. Loaded cases are then shipped to case closers for secure top closing.
