Model 363 gauge and absolute pressure transmitter from Viatran is an all-welded, stainless steel unit that provides protection against corrosion and humidity. The flush diaphragm inhibits bacterial growth and facilitates CIP systems. The quick-disconnect Tri-Clamp connections make the product suitable for dairy and food processing applications where frequent cleaning is required. In use, pressure is applied directly to the sensing diaphragm where bonded foil strain gauges measure the induced strain. This technology allows accurate pressure measurement up to 500 PSI.
