Universal Flow Coolpoint vortex shedding flow meters measure flows of chill water, peeling water and wash water in food processing applications. Capable of measuring and monitoring water that may contain particles, the meters have no mechanical parts to stick or coat, eliminating the potential for clogging. Flow meters in 1⁄4- to 1⁄2-in. sizes are made of 316 stainless steel and can be coated with perfluoroelastomer seals for use in harsh environments. Pipe sizes from 1⁄4 to 4 in. are available with a temperature transmitter for flow applications involving heat removal.
