Designed for spray dryers in the food and dairy industry, the KMA AAIRMAXX ESP electrostatic dust filter system consists of several vertically arranged stainless steel tubes. During the operation of the filter, the stainless steel laser-cut ionization electrode in the center of each tube creates an electrostatic field, making the dust in the airstream move to the walls of the tubes. The dust flows down from the walls into the hopper beneath the tubes and passes a discharge airlock; the recovered dust flows to the spray dryer’s central dust discharge and collector system. For frequent removal of dust, each filter tube is equipped with pneumatic vibration units.
