Aplus Finetek Sensor’s belt conveyor safety cable pull switches provide a switching system to isolate the power to conveyor system and other equivalent process equipment in the emergency condition in the event of torsional belt movement due to uneven side loading. The switches are actuated by a plastic coated steel wire, which is placed along-side the conveyor. Pulling on the cable at any point trips and automatically locks the switches, de-energizing the conveyor starter contactor. After tripping, the mechanical latch can only be released by the reset lever.
