The Multi-Conveyor 2:1 merge conveyor merges 2 lanes of separately fed bagged food into a single lane at speeds up to 110 products/min. The proper product stagger at the merge point is achieved by setting the twin heads of the baggers for simultaneous release and calculating the proper speed-to-length ratios for each conveyor. A powered rail maintains the position of the bags in the lane as they travel through the merge, while urethane belt transfers at the bagger dischargers allow loose product to fall through.
