First organic and non-GMO supply chain company opens in U.S.

Pipeline Foods is first U.S.-based company to focus on organic and non-GMO supply chain

A new company that describes itself as the first U.S.-based supply chain company focused on non-GMO and organic food and feed has begun operations.

Pipeline Foods, LLC, is a Minneapolis-based supply chain solutions company. Its focus is on offering non-GMO and organic supplies and products throughout the entire supply chain. Most companies in the organic food industry focus on specific segments or commodities.

"Pipeline Foods is eager to invest in supply chain solutions that bring value to the organic and non-GMO grain and oilseed industry," says Eric Jackson, CEO. "We will put more profits back into the hands of the farmers, create dependability and transparency for food companies, and offer unique investment opportunities for financial partners."

In addition to Minneapolis, Pipeline has regional headquarters in Winnipeg, Canada and Buenos Aires, Argentina. It has more than 40 employees.
