A new product called Split puts together the classic combo of peanut butter and jelly (or almond butter and preserves) in a single snack pack that separates the two in squeezable compartments.

Split Nutrition promotes the on-the-go product for a “quick meal of balanced proteins and carbohydrates for pre- or post-workout, travel, work or school.” Instructions are to fold, knead and rip open the package to eat the nut butter and jam right from the pack or use them to make snacks.

With four to six non-GMO ingredients per pack, the product comes in four flavors: peanut butter and grape jelly or almond butter and raspberry, blueberry or strawberry spreads.

The product is the creation of restauranteur and cycling enthusiast Jeff Mahin, restauranteur Christopher Meers and elite performance nutritionist Philip Goglia.

The company sells 10-pack boxes on its website for $22 to $25.
