RFC Macrowave CeleroTherm pasteurization systems feature a hybridized layout where a radio frequency heating system provides uniform heating of bags or deep bed depths of bulk material conveyed on a troughed belt. An integrated heat retention zone prevents product cooling during the required hold time. Systems are available for process requirements from 1,500 to 25,000 lb./hr. Typical applications include the pasteurization of dry food ingredients, spices and protein supplements.
