Oregon firm to recall meat and poultry products produced without inspection
Siberoni has recalled 169,655 pounds of raw and frozen meat and poultry "pelmini".
Portland, Oregon-based Siberoni has recalled 169,655 pounds of raw and frozen meat and poultry "pelmini", an Eastern European-style ravioli product. An FSIS investigator found product at a distributor that the firm had produced while under suspension. Further investiation determined more product had been produced prior to the suspension period without the benefit of inspection. FSIS has received no reports of illness associated with the consumption of these products.
